FY 2019 Proposed Budget Highlights

Overview
The fiscal year 2019 proposed budget continues to move the District of Columbia forward. It invests $14.5 billion in programs and services that give residents a Fair Shot. We’re investing in our people, that means $1.3 billion to fix our schools buildings. Continuing the fight to create and preserve affordable housing for our families and seniors $100 million. Investing $288 million in our parks, recreation centers & swimming pools, $300 million in the construction of a state-of-the art community hospital, and $430 million to fix our roads, sidewalks and alleys.
