Mayor's Fourth Annual Senior Symposium Is May 13, 2015

Don’t miss the 4th Annual Mayor’s Senior Symposium on Wednesday, May 13, 2015, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm at the Renaissance Washington DC Downtown Hotel. This free event brings together older adults, persons living with disabilities, service providers, community stakeholders and family caregivers. Our theme is “Career-to-Golden Years: Promoting Longevity and Independence for Seniors”.

The symposium will feature workshops on topics such as:

• Fraud and scams: How to protect yourself
• Understanding livable communities
• How to be money smart
• Brain health and understanding Alzheimer’s disease
